"Violence is not an answer" is most famous phrase on the subject. But how do you deal with someone so violent and ruthless, that they beat their enemy to death and then multilate their bodies, shouting on camera "Allahu Akbar" (God is great)? Lets draw a direct analogy - what happens to animals that tasted blood, especially human bloody? They go "cuckoo", they are eager for more and no intelligent dialogue with them is possible. Only solution, as in case with dogs (or bears) would be to put them down.
