Radmin from Famatech is one of the best remote administration tools, available in market of commercial software. It allows you to remotely administer systems, assist users, communicate by text or voice chat, upload and download files, access remote system via telnet, and has many other features.
What really makes it unique is its high speed of installation (no reboot required) and high speed of use (highly optimized video driver and network routine). In addition, every data, such as screen broadcast, mouse movement coordinates and keyboard input, is encrypted via industry standard AES cryptographic algorithm, using 256 bit keys.
It is fully compatible with Windows 7, supports Intel AMT technology (remote boot up and shutdown), and is really easy to use too.
There are, however, some disadvantages too, for example, absence of Linux version, which renders it useless in cross-platform environment.
Another great, but missing, feature is ability to connect thru 3rd party server. Now sometimes it is considered better, since data goes from point A to point B, not depending on any other side. But if you are to use it to consult people, you might face a series of difficulties, such as fully firewalled environment on your client’s (server) side. Then you’ll have to ask your client to configure his firewall, which might take some time, and in some cases, is impossible due to security restrictions.
Nevertheless, Radmin is great application, and we advise you to use it.
Please, stay tuned for installation and use guide.
